PRACTICAL

The São Paulo Grand Prix is held at the Interlagos circuit, located in the Interlagos district of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located approximately 25 kilometres southwest of the centre of São Paulo. The circuit is easily accessible by various means of transport, including taxis, carpooling and public transport, with the Autódromo metro station located nearby.

Visitors attending the Grand Prix should book accommodation in advance given the high demand during the event and take the opportunity to explore São Paulo's diverse attractions and vibrant culture while in the city. In addition, they should inform themselves about safety precautions and keep an eye on their belongings in crowded areas.

Please note that Brazil is not one of the safest countries - so don't take any unnecessary risks. Avoid wandering around, don't travel alone and beware. Pickpocketing is quite common, so keep all expensive items well hidden (or ideally leave them at home) and don't carry large amounts of cash.

On several occasions in the past, members of some teams have been mugged on their way to the circuit in connection with a big prize. However, the police have put measures in place to minimise these incidents.
