INTERLAGOS

Interlagos (also known as Autodrómo Jose Carlos Pace) is an established F1 Grand Prix venue that offers a great racing show every year.

Interlagos is one of Brazil's most famous motorsport venues. Located in São Paulo, it has a rich history dating back to its inauguration in 1940. Interlagos is renowned for its challenging layout, featuring a mix of fast straights and technical corners that test the skills of drivers.

The circuit has been a regular host of the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix since 1973, providing fans with thrilling races and memorable moments. Its name, Interlagos, translates to "between lakes," reflecting its original location amidst several interconnected lakes, though much of the water has been drained over the years. The second name of the circuit is connected to Brazilian racer José Carlos Pace. Pace was born in 1944 in São Paulo and began his racing career in the late 1960s. He raced in Formula One from 1972 until his tragic death in a plane crash in 1977.

Today, Interlagos remains a beloved destination for motorsport enthusiasts from around the world.
