ENTERING THE CIRCUIT

Please expect your luggage to be checked at the entrance. See what items you can take with you and what you should leave at home. Whether it's fan merchandise or food and drink. We don't recommend trying to sneak items past the organisers. If you are found with a prohibited item, it will be confiscated and disposed of. In extreme cases, you may even be banned from entering.

Tickets

  • You can only enter the circuit with a valid ticket. You can either have it electronically or printed on paper. Our tip is clear - keep your ticket on your mobile phone and be ready to show it. However, it is a good idea to have a backup printed version. If everything goes well,  you won't even have to take it out of your pocket.
  • We recommend buying your tickets online. It takes less than two minutes and you’re ready to go. Check out the best prices here, but don't wait too long, some tickets are already sold out! You can choose from seated, general admission, or natural grandstand tickets with no seat reservations.
  • Each code is valid for one entry. Do not send your ticket to anyone you do not trust, otherwise they may misuse it. If you leave the circuit for part of the day, be sure to have your ticket re-tagged by security. If you do not do so, you will not be able to return to the circuit on the same day. The ticket is not linked to a specific user. Therefore, more than one person can use the same ticket on the circuit on the same day.

Parking

Parking in the vicinity of the Interlagos F1 is very difficult as the number of parking spaces is limited - for fans with a standard ticket, official parking spaces are unavailable. In addition, we do not recommend driving alone in São Paulo, as driving on local roads and in very specific traffic may be difficult for foreigners.

We therefore recommend that you take a different mode of transport to the circuit. Metro is the best option (the stop is just 600 metres from the Interlagos. You can also use a taxi or Uber. For more information, click here.

If you still prefer to drive to the circuit, you have two options

Park in the wider area around the circuit and then continue using public transport (metro) or the shuttle bus, which has stops in several places in São Paulo.

The other alternative is to use the unofficial parking lots that are located near the ring road. These are frequently operated by locals, with parking prices ranging up to 300 BRL (about 60 USD) depending on the day (Fridays are the cheapest, and Sundays are the most expensive). Unfortunately, the operators of these parking areas do not have information about their parking publicly available. In this case, we recommend arriving at the circuit on time or checking on the Thursday before the weekend to find out exactly where the unofficial parking lots are located.

If you are travelling by car from São Paulo, head south on the Av. Marginal Pinheiros and follow the signs to the Interlagos circuit. In heavy traffic, expect the journey to take at least 1 and a half hours.

Opening hours of the circuit

Circuit gates open Friday through Sunday from 8 am.
