BY MASS TRANSPORT

Using public transport is the easiest and cheapest option for the São Paulo Grand Prix. In São Paulo, we recommend using the local metro in this regard.

Metro

We highly recommend you travel to the circuit by metro - it is a safe and cheap option.  The metro is an integral part of public transport in São Paulo and serves millions of passengers every day.

The São Paulo Metrô, known locally as the Metrô, is a vital component of the city's transportation network, providing efficient and reliable subway service to millions of commuters and visitors. With multiple lines spanning across the city and its surrounding areas, the Metro São Paulo offers a convenient way to navigate the bustling metropolis. The system connects key areas of São Paulo, including downtown districts, business centres, cultural landmarks, and major transportation hubs such as airports and bus terminals.

Passengers can purchase tickets or rechargeable cards to access the Metro, which operates from early morning until late at night, offering frequent trains to accommodate the city's high demand for public transportation. The Metro São Paulo plays a crucial role in easing traffic congestion, promoting sustainable travel, and enhancing mobility for residents and tourists alike in one of South America's largest cities.

When travelling to Interlagos by metro, use the stop Autodrómo, which is on Line 9 (Esmeralda). The metro stop is located approximately 500 metres from the circuit.

Shuttle service

Annually, F1 Express shuttle buses embark on their journey to Interlagos every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, departing from multiple spots across São Paulo.

These sleek blue and white coaches, equipped with modern amenities and air conditioning, smoothly traverse the city's designated bus lanes en route to the circuit.
